Pricing

Problem solving / repair:

It's quite obvious that no one likes call-out charges, therefore we have decided to switch over to a fixed-fee-fix scheme.

We also operate on a no-fix-no-fee basis, so you can be rest-assured that you will not pay anything if we can't fix it.

For home users, our price is capped at £50 (Inc. VAT), if we fix it within 30 minutes, the charge would be £30 (Inc VAT)

  • No callout fee!
  • No hourly charge!
  • You only pay us when the problem is resolved.

This fee includes the call-out and any time spent on-site. Most customers will only pay this one fixed charge.

If a fault is identified with a hardware component, then the cost of any parts required will be extra.

Simple Hardware Upgrades:

For example, memory upgrades, and additional hard drive installation.

A simple hardware upgrade would involve minimal work, and would take no longer than 15 minutes. If you would like additional problems resolving while we are there, installation of the upgrade would be included in the problem solving price above.

Cost of a simple upgrade is £30 plus the cost of the upgrade required.

Complex Hardware Upgrade:

For example, replacing your hard drive, and re-installing windows.

As this sort of work would take significantly longer than a simple upgrade, this would be charged in-line with the problem solving section above.

Other work:

We value feedback from our customers, therefore if you feel that your requirements are not covered above, we would encourage you to contact us, so that we may provide you with a quote.

It will help us if you could provide as much detail about your problem as possible. The more information you can provide, the easier it will be for us to narrow down the cause of the fault.

If you know the details for any of the following parts of your PC, it would be very useful.

CPU type and speed, RAM size, Hard disk (file storage) size, video or graphics card, sound card, Windows version, modem, Internet connection type (Broadband or Dial-up), any error messages encountered, etc.

Don't worry if you don't know what any of that means, but any information you can provide will help, even if it's just the approximate age of your PC, and what you mainly use it for.
